Student Activity Grant

Fall 2011 marks the beginning of Blue and White’s new Student Activity Grant Program. The goal of the program is to support current DHS students in achieving more from their school experience. Any DHS student may apply for funding to support curricular or extra-curricular activities during their sophomore, junior or senior year. Examples of activities that may be considered for funding are attendance to an academic conference, sports training camp or fine art workshop, tutoring, or assistance with expenses related to extramural school activities (i.e. costuming, sports equipment, musical instruments). These are just a few examples, as applications will be reviewed on a case-by- case basis and any monetary grant awarded will depend not only on the merit of the request, but on the number of applicants and availability of funding.

For the 2011-2012 academic year the Foundation will have two deadlines for application submission: November 1, 2011 and April 1, 2012.
